Sergeant Pepper is a very makluanish album. It's an album that's asking you to move from the foreground to the background. The fact that there are bazillions of copies of Sergeant Pepper floating around the world might make us get a little confused on the point. But it's autographic in this very important sense that it's about the recording as a bounded hole, as a unique autographic production. Something that even if it could exist outside of a studio, nevertheless, what the work is in itself is something made by this unique autographic process at Infinitum.
