The Importance of Climate Adaptation
We're already at 1.1 degrees of global warming, and are on pace to pass 1.5 degrees in the next several years. So given all that, should we be deferring some of the money or public attention away from climate mitigation policies? Yes, in a word, and it's become a major subject of discussion in the Global Climate Conference Circus - known as COP. At COP, there were three buckets under which climate policy is discussed: mitigation, reparations and damage.
