accelerationism tries to push the point that a little bit more egalitarianism is really not going to change anything. Part of this is because our desires and ourselves and our systems have all been shaped to not agree with that, he says. The idea that we encourage and amplify these abstractions provokes a new world in which we are already embedded but hesitant to completely embrace.
