Marianne Tisdall: One of the biggest mistakes organizations make around speaking up is that they try and point at people who are being silent. Speaking up happens in relation to the invitation and ability for somebody to listen, she says. And if we are lacking in that, then you can bet that there's probably a lot more silence than you even realize inside your organization,. She adds.
