The Origin Story of the Gun Evangelists

Neil Knox worked as a reporter and editor with newspapers in Vernon and Wichita Falls before getting a job as founding editor of gun week. He spent the next 40 years railing against gun control and pinning himself against NRA leaders he saw as too compromising. At one point in the mid 1990s, Neil Knox even suggested the assassinations of Kennedy and King might have been staged to build support for gun control.
