The Importance of Fatherhood
We're projecting onto God our concept and experience of what father is. A lot of the dads listening to us right now they get it. They all loved knowing that dad was telling every one of them that they were his favorite because it was the blessing of the heaven of the father That they long for coming on their lives. But some of these other dads were bad dudes and they left scars and wounds on people's hearts. So we're trying to unwind in the book is that God's not a bigger version of our earthly dad. He's the perfection of our earthly father and he can restore our understanding of what it means to be love sons and love daughters.
