Melatonin is something that one needs to be very careful with above certain levels. A nap in the middle of a day, even if it's just a 20 minute cat nap, can deplete you of adenosine makes it harder for you to sleep at night. Melatonin should really only be used in extreme cases like severe jet lag. Other supplements that I think are very helpful include glycine and ashwagandha.
