The Japanese Medical System Is Good and Bad

When it comes to more surgical procedures, I don't want to be here for them. The Japanese medical system is good and bad - in one hand the hospitals are clean and tidy and nice on the other hand, lots of things go right. But hearing Charlie's experience with her thyroid and Pete's experience with the appendix, that's pretty scary. There was some really, really awful stories about catheters and things. It just seems like there's too many horror stories, if you know what I mean. And we got a story this week about taxis and silence, my two favourite things. What's going on?
