The Fairy Folks
My uncle told me a story about how he saw something in the flames of his house. The figure was draped in tattered rags with a hood pulled up around its head. When my uncle saw it, the thing leaned back and let out an ear piercing wail,. forcing my uncle to cover his ears to escape from the sudden pain. It's here that my uncle ends the story abruptly. He apparently didn't remember that much afterwards, only that his father was very angry with him, and no fire seemed to have taken place. Even the broken glass might have just been his dad breaking shit in their house. After this, I had to give my uncle a day to recover. T
