How to Gauge the Prospective Founder Market Fit

The team matters a lot more than the founders oftentimes so you need to be able to really understand what is the probability that these founders or this founder will be able to recruit people much better than them. For our criteria we're investing in 50 to 100 X outcomes hopefully meaning it's going to generate they're going to have to generate tens of millions at a minimum to hundreds of millions of dollars and even billions of dollars of revenue one day for us to really hit our kind of success criteria from an investment sample. We don't particularly care about profitability as much as our later stage counterparts do but certainly like to look at how are the founders thinking about the unit economics and how those will evolve.
