i'm notorious for walking past my office and saying, oh, i'm just going to check emal for ten minutes. And then two hours later, there i am thinking, what happened in my evening? It's not just about taking the vacation days to recharge, but it's also about setting the tone for what's standard procedure within your work place. If you really want your employees to take that time off, you kind of have to set the tone for the behaviour you want to see mirrored within your workplace.
