This was part of the reason we thought the US was involved because he was making deals with Russia over food and energy. But since they did not get cheaper fuel and fuel is the biggest cost that Pakistani government has the biggest price. Since then Pakistan has been importing these costly fuel and the oil prices in Pakistan are really high. They keep going higher and higher. So one way to go get out of it was to go to the IMF.
