Think about the last two years of your electronic life. I have moved from three of every different kind of charger to almost everything in USB-C and maybe two other things. It's already happening. If you just leave people alone, they will arrive at the conclusion they'll arrive at. There may well be a much better product out there that we're never going to see because the European Union mandated the USB-C.
