Mr. Elton said he never met a disposition more truly amiable than Harriet's. He almost longed to attempt her likeness myself, but gave it up for one reason or another. Emma Woodhouse was not less pleased with the manner in which she seconded Mr. Elton's wish of hers to have Harriet's picture.
