How Much High Intensity Should You Do Per Week?
There's plenty of research showing that 2 high intensity sessions per week is ideal. You see no additional gains with 3 and you start doing 4 or more. There is a sweet spot of two sets, maybe three sets if you're higher level. Make them really hurt. Even there are times to absolutely rip yourself apart but you don't always have to do that.
