The Future of Social Media

I'm a math professor and I'm the first to say numbers don't have some intrinsic meaning, right? So it's a general pet peeve of sort of giving a false sense of precision by using numbers that you don't really know where they came from or they're just made up. The fact that all of these statements about like how dangerous they are about human extinction are coming out of people in the AI industry has started to kind of feel like marketing. Yeah, exactly. I think a little bit of buzz marketing going on here.
