The Unfinalizedness of Russian Literature
Russian literature often times deals with final answers but sometimes doesn't always arrive at them. The debate in Russia has been between those two schools of course. When the ideologues take over in the Soviet period then the novelists who see things differently become dissidents. They write for the drawer, they can't be published in their lifetimes but they're still producing amazingly great works in the 20th century. So the story continues and somehow I think that is one of the central stories of the past number of years.
