Snap's MyAI Chatbot Gone Rogue: How It Impacted Users

Snapchat's MyAI feature was automatically added to user accounts when it launched. In tests run by The Washington Post, the chatbot told a fictional 15-year-old how to mask the smell of pot and alcohol at her upcoming birthday party. It also wrote a school essay for a teenager, something AI tools have come under widespread fire for recently. Snap has said that its platform does often hallucinate. But users are crying foul and pressuring the tech giant to press pause on this feature.
