Most of the book we get is from the perspective of Carolyn who obviously has a lot of things to hide lots of ulterior motives. Then there's another character named Irwin who only checks in with occasionally but is like an Afghanistan war vet and hyper competent when it comes to sleuthing and killing people. Tell me how any of these characters meet Carolyn meets Steve well do you want to hear how they meet chronologically in the story arc of the book or  in order?
