No Baskets for a Hot Air Balloon

Daredevil daredevils would attach themselves by a rope to an inflating, hot air balloon with no baskets. And when they got to a certain height, they would a loosen themselves from the rope, fall down and parachute back to earth. But you have to loosen yourself up before thigh presumably.
