There is this extreme deference to authority that has been drilled, at least into americans heads. The thought is that the ex if they have a degree, then you have to shut up and listen to them. In the philippines, just to name an example, i'm told there is no resistance. There is nothing like that. Everybody just does what they are told. It's its it it's just the scientific method.
