The Power of Preferences and Desires in the Church

When Paul is writing the Timothy and first Timothy he says to remain in Ephesus so you might teach John Doctrine. He says because many are arguing over endless myths and genealogies that have no resolution. Do we bring coffee in the sanctuary? Do we have pews or do we have chairs? I mean what kind of music are we going to sing? Those are desires and preferences. And those are things you cannot rally around. You can only unify around Christ and the gospel. That's right. Amen.
