What Is Intimacy Made Of?
If intimacy is the cure for loneliness, then what's the recipe? So i came up with an intimacy equation. The first component required for intimacy is disclosure. I share something of my special self with you. You share something of your special self with me. This can be verbal or non verbal. We are moved to laughter, to tears, to change our minds. How incredibly intimate it is to change your mind about something based on your interaction with another human being. Disclosure plus resonance multiplied by permeability equals intimacy.
