Is Late Capitalism an Experience of Old Europeans?

Late capitalism is a term of art coined to capture that moment, to capture this sense that capitalism had a history. And so you'll find Ernest Mandel, the great theorist in the Trotskyist tradition, who's widely cited by the new left review folks. They also employ a late capitalism idea. So I think late may be an experience of old Europeans, but it is not very well described the state of the overall system at a global level at this point. Unfortunately, we are on the late stage of this event, and we do have an ending, and it is now.
