The Importance of Being Optimistic
I think sometimes we use that as a weapon. If somebody wants to point out a blind spot, they're considered negative. There's a timing thing where you don't want to bring somebody down or change an energy about it. I've always tried to counter my external optimism by surrounding myself with what I call contrarians. It's people that will give it to me hard and allow me to see another side of what I call optimism.
