If you don't ever say no, then your yeses really don't mean anything. Your geographic trading area is a reflection of the depth of your expertise. So I think if you want to be seen as an expert in your backyard, the best thing you can do is ignore your backyard and go pursue some engagements elsewhere. Those are the two main things I tell them.
