The Dangers of AI
I think the two areas that could have the biggest beneficial impact are healthcare and education. As income inequality seems to be increasing in most Western countries, what that means is that those services are less affordable for people of all incomes. So we know from experiments that an expert human tutor can double or triple the rate of learning of a child compared to a classroom environment. If we could replicate that process, we could bring most kids in the world to a college level by the age of 10 or 11.
