Getting the Value for the Low-Volume Metals

When the economy is down and people need money or when scrap prices are particularly high abandoned properties are at the highest risk of being stripped for metal like copper and steel. In one city in India over 10,000 manhole or maintenance hole covers were stolen in a period of two months. Some governments are trying to sweeten the deal if you can keep things out of dumpsters so instead of getting the normal demolition fee you would be given or reduce free if you've been able to divert a certain amount of that structural material away from the landfill.
