Richard Nevs' Face Reconstruction

Richard Nevs retired now after a 40 year career in which he recreated hundreds of faces with the Manchester method that he invented. Of course, making natural model of Jesus' face was impossible but Richard's skills were able to provide some clues. Do you get a sense at all of a link back to history? I never have and I probably never will. This is purely an exercise in creating a face. There is no emotional link whatsoever. So is it more of an art or a science? Oh, I do know you're the first person who's asked that question. My faces I think can smile. They can move their eyes and smile and they're alive.
