Is the M2 a Failure?

I think partially it's Intel's fault because Intel's been stuck on larger size processes for a while now. As soon as the base M2 was announced at five nanometer, the M2 Pro and Max were always going to be five nanometer. The way Apple builds these chips is they're basically like building blocks, right?
