The Importance of Mentors in UX Design

A mentor is like a relationship. You can't have a relationship with one meeting, right? Yeah. There's got to be some continuous conversation,. A lot of these people that I've met, I don't have their phone numbers or things like that, but we keep in touch. And there's a relationship there, even if it is through social media and stuff. So from your perspective, the quote unquote mentor is that ad hoc one off speed dating kind of thing. Whereas a mentor can almost be anything. It doesn't even have to be UX design. The aspect of coaching in its truest sense is meeting somebody where they're at and working through questions to help them identify
