Why Do We Need Conflict in Our Novels?

Losing an advantage can remove something advantageous for the rater. Things like losing your keys are a problem because now the character has to look for their keys. They have these the butterfly effect that causes the ripples that create these bigger problems in the story. There's times of little, you know, a car accident, a fender bender, something that's not a major, major deal with life threatening impact,. axpet all these things can cause that can cause financial difficulties. That can cause relationship problems. So they can be so small and seemingly in con quential, but they do have bigger facts for the story writing.
