The Diabolical Lovers

Aurora Martine and Peter Uva Schmidt were both con artists who killed their newlyweds to collect the insurance money. Aurora's body washed up on shore three days after her death, but Peter collected nearly half a million bucks from her life insurance policy. The coroner believes that he may have been able to get a charge of unlawful killing, but didn't believe he could prove the husband's involvement beyond reasonable doubt.
