The Difference Between Freeri and Fraeri's New Sociology of Education

The new sociology of education appeared to start and end with the logic of political, economic and cultural reproduction. freeri's analysis begins with the process of production, that is, with the various ways in which human beings construct their own voices within specific historical settings and constraints. The reproduction of capitalist rationality in other forms of oppression was only one political and theoretical moment in the process of domination,. rather than an all encompassing aspect of human existence. It was something to be decoded, challenged and transformed, but only within the ongoing discourse experiences and histories of the oppressed themselves.
