Is There a Future in Artificial Intelligence?
The risks seem to be more of the lack of our imagination of what it could be used for than any vertical application. NASA has an AI called Exo-miner, which is able to find exoplanets or planets in other stars. It's a deep learning network running on their Pleiades supercomputer that looks for very faint signals in data gathered by the Kepler space telescope. Next week we'll talk about the types of risk described in the act and how you can work in this field day to day.
