What Is IELTS?

I've heard stories of native English speakers, 0.5 in the writing test. Getting which score sorry, you just lost for a second. I can't really say like that. But generally speaking, students want to get a seven because that's what the universities or immigration authorities are looking for. And this is where the exam skills come in - being able to coherently express your thoughts to the answer and backing up your claims with evidence and stuff like that.
