The Tick Tock Deal and the Chinese Diaspora

China is supposed to be a cock in the wheel of the globalization effort that was led by United States. But what happened was that rather than remaining as a vast, vast pool of cheap labor for the Western multinationals, Chinese have developed their own capabilities and infrastructure. And so now Facebook and Google are teaming up. They are lobbying while lucky for them, you know, United States have the best congressman money can buy. So they're lobbying all these tech illiterate congressmen to fan tech talk so they can benefit from from the removal of their main competitors.
