The Importance of Cognitive Biases in the Finance Industry

There have been structural changes over the past few decades that have really affected the industry. And in some ways, they've moved it away from its client-serving mission and from its singular focus on supporting the real economy. The challenge is that if you look at the finance industry as a whole, there are a lot of issues regarding cognitive biases. That's part of the focus that I wanted to bring to the study.
