Or what wellness aps can we create to help people manage their screen time? And it might be that technologies, digital technologies, are not the solution for digital technologies. It may really be as simple as sabbath, you know, having having a day when you're not plugged in. Not to be antitech, but we can bring our technologies along with us in certain ways, but not in other things.

Rushkoff is an author, professor, and documentarian who focuses on the ways people, culture, and institutions create, share and influence each other's values. He is the author of 17 books including the 2019 release Team Human, and he is a Professor of Media Theory and Digital Economics at CUNY/Queens.
