How to Say Goodbye

I think economists, at least me, I'm a little bit afraid of artists because number one, I tend to like things that I can quantify and art is hard to quantify. And number two, economists are very literal. Just look at the world and then what we try to do is strip away everything complicated down to a handful of mathematical equations which are obviously nothing like the real world but maybe capture some element of it. Yet we're still using our set of tools that we've honed over the years and they're pretty blunt in their own ways and limited. But yeah, you're probably trying to exclude all the things that make life interesting to me. That would be my hunch
