Percy florence dies at sea in a terrible storm. He drowns out at sea with two women who both love him. They have to burn the bodies on the beach, which is romanticized as this scene. But mary couldn't face it and so byron and other s cind of took care of it. Was there a romantic thing here? It's difficult to say because women at this time wrote about friendships in incredibly passionate terms. Talsey: "I was so ready to give myself away for men"
