Pedro Sanchez: The Perpetual Comeback Kid
The Central Right Popular Party did score the most votes but substantially less than were expected. Instead of securing 160 seats in this parliament of 350 MPs they only have 136. Since Volks only has 33 MPs they don't reach the 176 margin for an absolute majority government. And what that means in practice is they don't really have a viable path to form a government. So I mean Pedro Sanchez remained prime minister for the moment and has his gamble paid off.
