The Big Guy and the Foreverman
There are satirical elements to the book and we're gonna get to those in a second. I really felt like this was your attempt to humanize Barack Obama as an existential threat without descending into caricature or just like you know good guy bad guy dichotomies absolutely. Each person to me is always unique and organic to their own life and their experience and so that is both I would say the beauty and the fun and the challenge of writing. There's a quote in the book from one of these forevermen where he says sometimes you have to rebreak a bone to set it right.
