The movie does really well is it shows you kind of the Jewish patriotism but also is totally convincing as to the Roman Empire being really awesome and like how awesome it would be to be Roman. It just made me want to be a Roman. I love the line when he tells the slave the galley slaves, you know if we lose this battle you're all going to die. He says you are condemned men, we keep you alive to serve this ship. So, Rowell and live.
