The justices seemed to be following and considered more plausible the arguments made by the Solicitor General's Office on behalf of the United States. The challengers themselves, their lawyer Eric Schnapper, was focusing more on a theory that things like thumbnails or URLs are generated by websites itself. And there it wasn't clear that the justices agreed with it, but they at least seemed to treat it as plausible.
