The treaty of sevre led to a massive partition of the ottoman empire, carving off arab territories and parcelling them out. The ottomans were left really with control only over a rump territory of the black sea coast and central anatolia. In 20 22 we will be marking the centenary of that decisive act when the cemelists abolish the ottomon sultanate in Turkey.
