How Many Tons Per Year Is the Current Carbon Removal Market Removing?
If we put the scale of the problem into some reliefas 50 billion tons aum carbon dioxide equivalent going into the atmosphere, that needs to be zero. How many tons per year is the current carbon removal market removing? That's a great question. I have yet to find a really good study on that. Estimates are for technological removal methods, so not tree planting. It's in the thousands of tons. But i think the harsh reality is the planet needs this to scale to billions of tons. So all hands on deck, aren't scaling that. We know how to plant a tree, and we miht might love this fact of bays, does it tech readiness level reading?
