The Importance of Repentance
When you see a four in Scripture, you want to ask what it's there for. What is the reason that Peter gives to this Jewish audience that they should repent of their unfaithfulness to their covenant Lord and be baptized? As those who repent or baptize, they may expect forgiveness of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit as God has promised.
