The New York Times' Warning About Artificial Intelligence
A group of industry leaders warned on Tuesday that the artificial intelligence technology they were building might one day pose an existential threat to humanity. This is a very old human scenario, particularly a scenario that is played out in the imagination in the modern age. The development of something like ChatGPT and the other commercial brands out there, it really has changed the moral discussion because we're looking at the anticipation that something's right around the corner.
