The Pitfalls Investigators Should Avoid
As an investigator, i have to go in with open to all possibilities. That there's a possibility this could be a false allegation,. They're not that common, but we've certainly had those. Or there's a possible this is a legitimate psychological injury as a result of a purposeful psychological harm. We need to be able to be open to the possibilities and start to narrow down to the probabilities based on the evidence. And so you've talked about some of the pitfalls that some investigators should avoid, and the others that come to mind. Um, it's funny, when when i train investigators, i spend a whole session on emotional intelligence. And the investedo emotional intelligence includes bias awareness
